Spirit Way Second-Stage Housing Program

Service Description

Provides a low-cost, second-stage, drug- and alcohol-free transition house for women with or without children (including male children up to age 13). The program focuses on Aboriginal cultural healing practices, but all women fleeing from an abusive relationship with their spouse are welcome. As well as affordable housing for up to 18 months, offers programs to help residents gain skills, information, and confidence to be independent. Cannot accommodate pets. Open referral. Phone hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Wheelchair accessible. Funded by Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) and BC Housing.
