Staffed Residential Homes

Provides homes for two to four people with intellectual disabilities in a home setting where they receive personalized 24/7 support from trained staff to ensure each person's health, safety and well-being are met. Staff are intentional about creating an intimate, family setting that creates a strong sense of belonging and is respectful of the people that live there. Encourages involvement in the communities, either by participating in a local community inclusion service, or by engaging in a range of activities within the community. Homes are located in communities throughout BC: four in the Richmond/Ladner area; four in the south Okanagan; eight in the Abbotsford area; four in the Chilliwack area; and one each in Surrey, Maple Ridge, and Langley. Staffed residential homes are funded through CLBC for people who are eligible, as determined through a CLBC assessment.
