Street Youth Job Action (SYJA)

Employment program for youth ages 15 to 24 who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness and looking to learn job skills and gain work experience while making money. Provides work in street beautification (street garbage removal, graffiti paint-over, posted bill removal), needle and condom pick-up and disposal, and events clean-up. Shifts are handed out at 9:30 am at Directions Youth Services Centre on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
