Service Description

Live in program for adults seeking to sustain recovery from substance use. Provides five two-bedroom suites for men and women in a substance-free assisted living environment. Assists residents to develop independence through personalized life skills training, support, and transition planning to promote wellness. Length of stay is typically six months. Supports a return to work or study after 10 to 12 weeks of participation in programming. Program is intended for individuals who have completed intensive treatment. Accepts individuals on substitution therapy. Fees are $35.90 per day; subsidies available through the Ministry of Social Development. Referral can be made by any member of the client's care team; applications are available online. One suite is wheelchair accessible; no elevator in building. Recovery housing is registered with the Assisted Living Registry, Ministry of Health.
