Service Description

Supports immigrant, refugee visible minority women, and women with immigration status issues who are experiencing abuse (physical, psychological, emotional, or financial), sexual assault, or any other offense related to abusive relationships. Services include counselling, advocacy, and referral prior to, during, and after a client's stay in a transition house. Also provides counselling to women who are victims of sexual assault or are survivors of childhood abuse. Services available in Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Tagalog; inquire for other languages. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG) as a Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling and Multicultural Outreach Program.
