Surrey Mobile Assault Response Team (SMART) Van

Provides an emergency van service for sex workers who need medical treatment after a sexual assault. Services include transportation to the hospital after an assault, peer support, a first aid station, harm reduction supplies, an emergency response worker who helps women explore their immediate and long-term options, and resources including emergency food, clothing, and shelter. Clients do not have to go to the hospital or make a police report to use the services. Operates at night. Serves Surrey.
