Service Description

A free membership-based place of belonging where people pursuing recovery - whether from poverty, homelessness, isolation, mental health challenges, trauma, unemployment, or substance use - can participate in an intentional community of mutual support and work towards their recovery goals. Supports members through a set of core interventions: Recovery Circles involve a mandatory weekly meeting with a trained facilitator and eight to 10 peers in which participants hold themselves and each other accountable for achieving goals. School of Recovery provides life skill development, activities, and classes on budgeting, job-readiness, conflict resolution, meditation and mindfulness, creative writing, walking, gardening, and choir. Service Navigation helps members connect to support services and opportunities in Vancouver. Communal Meals offer nutritious lunches and/or dinners. In-reach Services include health, legal, veterinary, and social services. There is a drop-in for people interested in learning more about the program from 1 pm to 4 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
