Service Description

An 18-bed, community-based residential facility that provides a safe, stable, and welcoming home and wraparound supports to indigenous persons on conditional release from federal correctional institutions. Staff provide residents with continuous support and advocacy as they navigate potential obstacles in their reintegration, and assist them to establish positive community connections. Provides food, shelter, and access to amenities, and connects residents to supports related to every aspect of their reintegration efforts such as addictions, mental health, employment, education goals, and information on obtaining housing, personal identification, medical coverage, banking services, and recreational opportunities. Also offers indigenous cultural programming and opportunities to engage with indigenous elders. Staffed 24 hours daily. Not wheelchair accessible. Serves Abbotsford. Operated under contract with Correctional Service of Canada (CSC).
