Traverse

A residential treatment program for up to 20 youth ages 13 to 18 who live in the Fraser Valley who want to work towards a healthier life. A team of addiction specialists offer individualized care and support; cultural programming is also available for Indigenous youth. Services include assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation with a strong focus on nature-based treatment. Stay is up to six months. Referral is through the Fraser Health Mental Health and Substance Use Team; prior to referral, youth need to be connected to a comunity health professional such as a Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) social worker, Fraser Health MHSU clinician, Child and Youth Mental clinician, or Fraser Health-contracted substance use counsellor.
