Service Description

Offers day care for children from infancy through elementary school age through 25 locations on the Point Grey campus in Vancouver. Prioritizes students, staff, and faculty of UBC, however applications are accepted from anyone. Day care is available Monday to Friday year-round; hours vary. Before- and after-school care is also offered for children in Kindergarten to 12 years old from 7:15 am to school drop off and school dismissal to 6 pm Monday to Friday. Osprey Occasional Care provides child-minding up to a maximum of eight hours for children between the age of 18 months and entry into grade one. Hours are 7:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday and 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Saturdays. Runs a full-day weekly Summer Program for children age six to 12, which includes field trips in the neighbourhood and throughout Vancouver. Registration is required. Fees are charged; offers discounted fees for parents who are UBC students or employees. Child care office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
