A 24-hour toll-free help line that provides veterans, former RCMP members, their families, and caregivers with free, short-term psychological support (up to 20 hours) from a mental health professional, including support for work-related issues, health concerns, family and marital problems, psychological difficulties, bereavement, and other problems affecting well-being. Also can refer to local mental health professionals. Offered in both French and English. Veterans can use the online chat to make an appointment with a mental health professional; available from 8 am to 7:30 pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday to Friday.
