Vancouver Indigenous Detox Support Worker Program

Provides support and liaison to Indigenous clients exiting the Vancouver Coastal Health withdrawal management services to assist with the transition from withdrawal towards a drug-free lifestyle. Services include help in developing and implementing a treatment and/or aftercare plan. Also provides connection to other addiction and community services as needed, the opportunity to be part of client peer support and educational groups, and follow-up. Referral accepted from self and other; walk-in or call for an appointment. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 Mondays, 10 am to 4:30 pm Tuesdays, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm Wednesdays, and 8:30 am to 11 am Thursdays.
