Violence Prevention Fund

Provides one-time, non-interest loans to women who have experienced violence and want to establish a safe and financially sustainable home. Loans can be used for rental arrears, utilities, a security deposit, moving costs, child care fees related to finding a home, storage, pet boarding; other needs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Also connects women with community services and provides advocacy and assistance in system navigation. Eligible women identify as female, are experiencing or have experienced violence, and have a bank account or are on income assistance. To apply, see website for a pre-assessment form.
