Virtual REACH (Remote Employment and Career Help) Employment Program

Service Description

16-week virtual training gives newcomers in rural BC access to career and skills development training, as well as job search support to help particpants find work. Includes employability and technology skills training, support with resumes and interview skills, and referal to local employers and job placements. Eligibility requirements apply, including permanent residency or protected person status, English skills (CLB 5+), basic digital literacy, and access to wifi. Serves newcomers in small towns and remote ares of BC, excluding Metro Vancouver, Greater Victoria, Kelowna, and Nanaimo. Funded by Immigrant, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
