Women's Overflow Shelter

Provides year-round, low-barrier, overnight emergency shelter beds for 31 women ages 19 and up on a first-come, first-served basis. Also provides a drop-in space for respite from the elements and lunches. Serves cisgender and transgender women, as well as non-binary and Two-Spirit people. Services include showers, breakfast and lunch, and a sitting/living area with TV and a computer. Basic hygiene items and emergency clothing are provided. Storage space is minimal, whatever can fit under the bed. Pets are allowed. Wheelchair accessible. Also acts as a warming and respite space where individuals can feel safe and receive food, even when beds are not available. Open from 11:30 pm to 6 pm seven days a week; closed evenings from 6 pm to 11:30 pm.
