Service Description

Provides assistive technology or supports to individuals with disabilities to assist them to gain and sustain employment or community attachment. Supports available include assistive devices, equipment, and technology; ergonomic supports; restorative supports (eg. canes, crutches); attendant services related to work; American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and captioning services; communication and hearing devices related to work; workplace access and modification; and vehicle modifications. Services are available to individuals ages 16 and up who have a work-related barrier due to a disability or a functional limitation; this may include barriers related to traveling to and from the workplace. Facility is fully accessible. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 am to 7:30 pm Thursdays, and 10 am to 3 pm Fridays. Funded by Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSDPR).
