Wrap Around Parent Guidance and Support (WAPGS)

Provides parent education and hands-on support to increase parent capacity and build and strengthen parent-child relationships. Works with families with children from birth to age six who are involved with MCFD, at risk of MCFD involvement, or who are seeking support and information on parenting. Transportation, snacks, and lunch are provided daily. Referral form available online. Serves Burns Lake, Cheslatta, Lake Babine, Nadleh Whut'en, Nee Tahi Buhn, Saik'uz, Skin Tyee, Stellat'en, Takla Lake, Wet'suwet'en, and Yekooche. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
