Y Mind Adult - Lower Mainland

Service Description

A free psychoeducational program for adults age 31 and over who are experiencing stress and mild-to-moderate anxiety. Participants learn evidence-based strategies of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and self-compassion. Program is facilitated by mental health professionals and is held online via Zoom three times a year. Priority is for Lower Mainland residents, but may accept individuals elsewhere from BC if space is available. Accepts self-referrals; no diagnosis of anxiety is required. Funded by YMCA BC Foundation.
