Service Description

A five-bed live-in program for Indigenous youth ages 13 to 18 who are looking to make changes to their relationship with drugs or alcohol. Youth may choose to stay in the program for one to four months, depending on their needs and goals. Program is Indigenous in focus, spirit, and operations, with support from Elders and peer mentors. Offers cultural activities and practices, traditional teachings, cultural practices and beliefs. Provides youth with support to explore and build relationships to their ancestry, culture, and communities of origin. Accepts self referrals, as well as referrals from family, and agencies within the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority region. Funded by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).
