Youth Programs

Offers support, guidance, and a safe environment to help youth ages 12 to 19 discover their unique contribution to the community. Plans programs that empower and connect youth to issues they care about and that makes a difference in their lives and the communities they live in. Programs and services for youth are offered at several local high schools (David Thompson, Killarney, and John Oliver) in a safe and engaging environment. Focus is on a broad range of skills such as environmental sustainability, health promotion, fundraising, special event planning, settlement, community development, leadership skills, social emotional learning, and academic support. Also provides opportunities for youth mentorship with younger children in several local elementary schools. There is an annual membership fee of $3; other fees may apply.
