Youth Programs

Provides outreach, education, and information and referral services to North Vancouver youth between the ages of 10 and 24, with a focus on identifying and supporting at-risk youth. Youth outreach workers provide one-to-one support regarding topics such as drug and alcohol awareness, trouble with school, anger management, self-esteem, and/or family and peer relationship difficulties. They also offer school and community outreach programs, deliver classroom presentations and run groups during lunch hours and after school programs, along with out-trips to local attractions, and various activity-based workshops. Youth may self-refer, or be referred by parents, counsellors, teachers, or other community organizations. Youth outreach workers serve the areas of Upper and Lower Capilano and North Lonsdale-Delbrook, and provide referrals for youth in other areas.
