Youth Settlement Program

Provides immigrant youth ages 10 to 18 who are new to Canada a safe place to learn about Canadian culture, their community, and practice their English. Activities include skills development, engaged workshops that deal with everyday life, culinary activities, support services for post-secondary and career planning, homework support, and out-trips. Other services include internet access and volunteer opportunities. Program hours are weekdays at lunch and Saturdays; hours vary. Yes Chef! Program is an 8-week food skills and food production employment preparation program for youth ages 15 to 30 who are permanent residents and convention refugees.
