Youth Supported Independent Living (YSIL) Program

Service Description

Supports youth ages 17 to 19 with a serious mental illness to live independently; youth may access the program until they turn 21. Outreach workers collaborate with youth to create a care plan to work towards their goals. Youth receive housing search assistance and a rental subsidy as well as learn life skills to integrate back into their community. Referral required from Surrey Child and Youth Mental Health.
