Service Description
Second-stage transition house in Surrey provides safe and affordable housing for mothers with children who have experienced intimate partner abuse; applicants must be female or female-identifying. Accepts dependents up to age 25, including children who are male, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming. Offers emotional support, court accompaniment, information and referral, and advocacy. Support staff are on site 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Length of stay is one year, with a possible extension of up to two years. Can accommodate some pets such as a dog or a cat. Wheelchair accessible. Funded by BC Housing.
