YWCA Support Group for Ukrainian Refugee Mothers

Service Description
Offers online weekly facilitated support groups for women displaced by the war in Ukraine who have children under 18 years old, are parenting alone, and are living in Metro Vancouver. Weekly virtual group meetings provide peer support and help build community, share information about resources, and make connections. Groups are led by a Ukrainian facilitator and offered in Ukrainian language. Offers monthly field trips (transportation tickets provided) and monthly grocery gift cards. Meetings are held online from 10 am to noon Tuesdays; new participants are welcomed on an ongoing basis. Not a drop-in program; registration is required. Application form is available online.
