Provides culturally supportive housing and services to address and end Aboriginal homelessness on Vancouver Island. Builds partnerships locally and island-wide to identify and address systemic and structural barriers; share information, resources, and lessons learned; and provide culturally-based supports. Offers programs grounded in Indigenous knowledge and practices, including culturally supportive housing, decolonized harm reduction, and land-based healing. Services are guided by the voices of the Indigenous Street Family and include outreach, cultural mentorship, and more. Serves First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Serves Vancouver Island. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by various partners including Island Health, BC Housing, and the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). Nonprofit society, registered charity.
