Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AMHA)

Umbrella organization for Indigenous housing self-management, giving members financial and governance support to housing authorities. Works to ensure all Indigenous peoples in BC have access to safe, secure, and affordable housing by collaborating with urban Indigenous housing providers to advocate for and deliver on province-wide housing commitments. Using a regional approach, helps housing providers address their communities' unique challenges and needs. Provides opportunities for partner organizations to learn more about off-reserve Indigenous housing issues. Does not provide housing; website does provide links to housing providers by region. Office hours are 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society.
