BC Aboriginal Child Care Society (BCACCS)

Serves Indigenous early learning and child care programs in BC. Offers training workshops, the Moe the Mouse speech and language development program, a resource centre, travelling child care advisors, training opportunities including an annual conference, research services, web resources (including free online job postings in Indigenous early childhood education), and a quarterly newsletter. Provides resources and supports to Indigenous early learning and child care professionals, including resources relating to fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) education and prevention. Also partners with Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) to operate the Jordan's Principle Enhanced Service Coordination Hub for BC; see separate ISC listing. Memberships are available for programs wanting to use the lending library, fees apply. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
