BC Parenting Coordination Roster Society

Provides training for family law lawyers and mental health professionals as parenting coordinators who are able to provide a child-focused dispute resolution process for separated families. Parenting coordinators have special training in mediating and arbitrating parenting disputes, and in helping separated parents recognize the needs of their children; they help parents deal with day-to-day conflicts about parenting issues on a long-term basis, with a focus on the children and their experiences of their parents' conflict. This service works best for parents who already have some kind of permanent arrangement in place regarding parenting issues. Couples with a parenting agreement in place can self-refer.
