Better Business Bureau of Mainland BC (BBB)

Organization of accredited businesses that helps consumers find and recommend businesses they can trust. Offers free and accessible consumer support services including consumer tips, fraud prevention resources, customer and advertising reviews, and education. BBB AdTruth is an educational program that teaches consumers about potential advertising abuses and allows individuals to report misleading or confusing advertisements. BBB Scam Tracker allows individuals to report businesses or suspected scams, or search a database to see if a similar scam has been reported. Also offers dispute resolution for business/consumer complaints. Office is open by appointment only. Phone hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society.
