Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)

Federal crown corporation that helps create and develop Canadian businesses through small business loans, financing for larger projects, venture capital, and networks of local business consultants, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. In-person services are available through business development centres located throughout BC. Smaller or remote communities may be served through offices, travelling account managers, and consultants. Office hours vary; toll-free phone hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
