Community Dental Access Centre

Low-cost dental clinic provides service to low-income people in the North Okanagan, not covered under private or employer dental plans. Services include emergency dental care, basic restorations extractions, and dental cleaning. Individuals must be receiving income assistance, person with disabilities assistance, or have an income below $35,000 for individuals, or $43,000 for families. Register at the clinic during business hours; clients must bring proof of address, proof of income, and BC Health Card. One-time registration fee is $10 per family. Clinic fee reductions depend on the client's income and/or government dental plan coverage rates. Accepts the Canadian Dental Care Plan. A prepayment option is available. Healthy Kids Program offers three preventive visits per year for children ages 18 and younger. Serves Armstrong, Cherryville, Coldstream, Enderby, Falkland, Grindrod, Lavington, Lumby, Spallumcheen, and Vernon. Hours are 8 am to 3:30 pm Monday and 8 am to 4 pm Tuesday to Friday.
