Community Volunteer Connections (CVC)

Volunteer resource centre promotes volunteerism in the Tri-Cities area (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody as well as Anmore and Belcarra, New Westminster, and North Surrey) by providing resources, programs, and services to advocate, educate, and mentor people and organizations. Also provides information and referrals to people interested in volunteering; a volunteer opportunity posting board is available online. In partnership with Fraser Health, runs volunteer programs for mental health facilities in Coquitlam and Surrey. In partnership with Community Living BC (CLBC) offers support services to adult volunteers with intellectual developmental disabilities. Trains nonprofit agencies and public-serving departments on volunteer management. Hosts an annual fair to celebrate volunteerism. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
