Provides services, information, and resources for children, youth, and young adults with developmental delays and diverse abilities, and for their families. Services include an infant development program, early intervention therapies, supported child development, an autism program, a preschool, parent support groups, and community integration programs for youth and young adults; see separate listings. A family advocate is available to initiate an Individualized Service Plan (ISP). Serves Comox Valley (including Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland, Denman Island, Fanny Bay, and Hornby Island), as well as communities from Mud Bay to Oyster River (including Black Creek, Buckley Bay, Fanny Bay, Lazo, Little River, Merville, Miracle Beach, Royston, Saratoga Beach, and Union Bay). Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; after-hours appointments are available by request. Funded in part by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and Community Living BC (CLBC). Nonprofit society.
