Dress for Success Vancouver

Provides career services, professional attire, and skills development programs for women and gender-diverse individuals. Offers professional attire for a job interview, work, or other special special circumstances that require professional attire, such as legal meetings, or court appearances. Each client is provided with one suit for an interview, and two complete outfits for a job start. Accepts self-referrals, or referrals through partner agencies. Appointment is required. Clients also have access to 5 free counselling sessions through a partnership with Telus Health. Offers workshops, a networking group for working women, and additional supports for newcomers including workshops on career development and wellness, job search assistance, and mentorship opportunities. Welcomes donations of current clean office attire, including suits, outerwear, handbags, footwear, and new hosiery and toiletries. Dressing serves offered out of boutique located in Vancouver. Serves Lower Mainland. Office hours are 9:30 am to 4 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Dressing services hours are 10 am to 1 pm Wednesday to Saturday, by appointment.

Helping Women Now offers virtual appointments with volunteers to women and gender-diverse individuals across BC and Canada and provides information and referral to local resources, support accessing government programs and benefits, and practice interview and resume and cover letter review sessions.
