Ending Violence Association of BC (EVA BC)

A provincial member organization that supports, trains, and advocates for anti-violence workers who work in government-funded anti-violence programs across the province. Does not provide direct support to survivors. The programs it represents respond to sexual and intimate partner violence, child abuse, and criminal harassment. EVA BC coordinates support for survivors in communities with partners across sectors (policing, justice, child services, government) to enhance support for survivors and works with partners with a goal to end gender-based violence, harassment, and hate. Serves BC. Nonprofit society, registered charity.

A training and education program that inspires change towards making communities safer.

A training and education program that inspires change towards making communities safer. Offers custom programs for schools and workplaces that deliver practical tools to end violence, bullying, harassment, and hate. The high school program is a partnership with the BC Lions Football Club that sees trained BC Lions players give free presentations at participating high schools, where students gain the confidence and skills to stand up to gender-based violence. Also offers a workplace program with an expanded scope that covers all forms of violence, harassment, and bullying; works with employers and unions to create inclusive workplace cultures that inspire action and leadership at all levels. Funded in part by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG), the BC Federation of Labour (BC FED), and the BC Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA).
