Ending Violence Association of BC (EVA BC)

A provincial member organization that supports, trains, and advocates for anti-violence workers through anti-violence programs across the province that respond to sexual and intimate partner violence, child abuse, and criminal harassment. Coordinates with cross-sectoral partners and other stakeholders to enhance community capacity and work together to end gender-based violence, harassment, and hate. Nonprofit society, registered charity.

A partnership with the BC Lions to raise awareness and urge the public to “Break the Silence on Gender-Based Violence.” Trained BC Lions players offer free presentations to students at participating BC high schools.

Also delivers fee-for-service leadership development training to create safe, respectful workplaces and communities. Funded by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG), the BC Federation of Labour (BC FED), and the BC Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA).
