Empowers low-income individuals and families to improve the quality of their lives. Services offered to individuals of any gender at The Healing Place drop-in centre include information and referral, emotional and crisis support, and domestic abuse recovery support. Also provides harm reduction supplies (safe injection kits, safe inhalation kits, and safer sex products), free Take Home Naloxone (Narcan) kits, HIV/HCV testing, and substance testing for fentanyl. The Outreach Store provides free non-perishable food, clothing, hygiene products, household necessities, and other critical items to individuals and families in need; store hours are from 9 am to 12 noon Monday to Friday, with Wednesdays for men only. Also runs a seasonal free volunteer Income Tax Program between March and April of each year. Drop-in centre hours are 9:30 am to 3 pm Mondays and 9 am to 3 pm Tuesday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
