Gabriola Auxiliary for Island Health Care Society

Provides support for community health education, health care programs, and patient comfort services on Gabriola Island. Drivers to Doctors provides transportation to medical clinic, dentist, lab, pharmacy, or registered therapist on Gabriola or in Nanaimo. Requires minimum 24-hour notice to schedule a pick-up. Meals on Wheels provides hot, nutritious, low-cost meals to seniors and individuals facing challenges with maintaining adequate nutrition while residing in their home in the community. Delivery is at 4 pm and 6 pm Mondays and Thursdays; offered in partnership with People for a Healthy Community on Gabriola. Nonprofit society.
