Provides free day services and programming to support adults with developmental disabilities. STARR is a group program that goes on regular community outings and participates in a range of recreation and volunteer activities in Victoria; serves clients with high emotional and behavioral support needs. Discovery focuses on developing social and communication skills to support social interactions and personal relationships. Pathways provides social, recreational, and health supports to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities as they age; addresses changes in needs and interests, functional abilities, health problems, life transitions, and socialization. Lifestreams Learning provides an individualized program of post-secondary education for young adults coming out of special needs programs in high school and prepares for employment by developing academic and work skills, self-management skills, and community participation skills. DREAMS works with clients who require a significant level of physical, personal care or other daily living supports, often at a one-to-one staff ratio. COSMOS is a service for young adults who are on the autism spectrum and who need extra support to engage in daily life and routine. OPTIONS focuses on experiential learning to help people meet their individualized learning goals. Learning goals may include developing personal independence skills, pre-employment skills, or simply investigating a personal area of interest. Other services include a supported artist studio program, coordinated volunteer placements, digital learning opportunities, residential services, and specialized employment services. Clients must be referred by Community Living BC (CLBC). Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society.
