Greater Victoria Housing Society (GVHS)

Provides safe and affordable rental housing for low- to moderate-income families, seniors ages 55 and older, working singles, and adults with disabilities who live independently. Manages housing in Brentwood Bay, Colwood, Esquimalt, Saanich, and Victoria. Apply for affordable housing for low and moderate income earners directly with the agency. Applications for subsidized housing are through the BC Housing Registry; forms can be completed online or dropped off at BC Housing’s Vancouver Island Regional Office (201-3440 Douglas Street, Victoria). Partially funded by BC Housing. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 12 noon Fridays. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
