Hebrew Free Loan Association of Vancouver (HFLA)

Offers a range of interest-free loans with varying loan limits to members of the Jewish community of British Columbia. Programs include loans for: emergencies to cover food and housing, security deposits, debt relief, bridging periods of unemployment, health and dental needs, the adoption process or fertility treatment, mobility aids, assistive devices, educational assessment, student loans, legal assistance, starting a new business, technology and software, and Jewish life cycle events. There is also a general loan program for needs not covered by the other loans. Loans are available to Jewish adults who must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents living in BC.
