Offers family support through a variety of parent education and support programs. The Food Bank provides food hampers to new community members and those experiencing life challenges; proof of income, address, and identification is required. Hampers are handed out from 10:30 am to 12 noon Tuesdays and Thursdays; by appointment only. The Reuse Program provides vulnerable populations with essential household and personal items such as clothing, sleeping bags or other outdoor survival gear, hygiene products, kitchen utensils, and furniture. Office carries many provincial and federal government forms, and provides form completion assistance. The Taxation Program for low income individuals and families, seniors, and people with disabilities is offered during tax season by walk-in and appointment; contact in advance to confirm volunteer availability. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society.
