James Bay New Horizons

Community centre offers a variety of arts and crafts, recreation, health and fitness, and support services and programs. Staff and volunteers provide information and referral, and form completion assistance to seniors. The Seniors' Reassurance Program provides friendly daily check-in calls for seniors living alone. Canada Scooters also provides free adjustments to scooters or walkers starting at 10 am on the first Wednesday of each month. Wellness services include a blood pressure clinic, and other services. Annual membership fee is $50; membership is open to all. Serves the James Bay area of Victoria. Open referral. Call for more information about program hours and services offered.
