Mackie's Place

A drop-in resource centre offering support for young people ages 14 to 24 who are at risk of homelessness, gang involvement, exposure to alcohol and substance abuse, or not completing high school. Serves free meals, snacks, and drinks, and helps youth to build a supportive community while learning life skills. The Job Skills Program provides youth with employment training, hands-on work experience opportunities, and resume and cover letter assistance. Drop-in hours are hours are 2 pm to 8 pm Mondays and Wednesdays, and 2 pm to 6 pm Fridays. Summer and holiday hours may vary; visit the Instagram account @mackiesplace for current updates.
