M'akola Housing Society

Provides affordable housing primarily for Indigenous individuals and families. Also provides housing for non-Indigenous individuals and families. Housing is located on reserve in partnership with First Nations, and off reserve in urban centres; see independent records for more information. Operates BC Housing-funded subsidized buildings for families; intake is through the BC Housing Registry. Also operates Island Health-funded assisted living facilities; intake is through the Community Access Line - South Island. Administration office hours are 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
