Migrant Workers Centre

Provides free legal assistance to migrant workers dealing with employment standards or immigration law issues in BC. Prioritizes clients on closed work permits or employer-specific work permits (including caregivers and migrant agricultural workers). Also assists clients on an open work permit facing issues such as labour trafficking or sexual harassment in the workplace. Legal services include information, referral, summary advice, and full representation. Appointments are available from 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Services may be offered virtually by phone or video chat. Drop-in clinic on select Saturdays. Also offers free public legal education workshops. Serves BC. Nonprofit society.
