Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) - Delta

Supports the well-being of children, youth, and families, especially those who are vulnerable, through child protection and child and youth mental health services. Also offers family support services, guardianship services, services for children and youth with support needs, and youth justice services. Adoption services in Delta are provided by the Surrey MCFD office. Other services coordinated through central provincial offices include intake and screening; helplines and after-hours support; resources and referral; funding and benefits programs; and specialized treatment for disabilities, mental health issues, and substance use. Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) intake and assessment clinic hours are 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday; call to book a virtual or in-person appointment. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
