Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) - Golden

Supports the well-being of children, youth, and families, especially those who are vulnerable, through child protection and child and youth mental health services. Also offers family support services and services for children and youth with support needs. Other services coordinated through central provincial offices include helplines and after-hours support; resources and referral; funding and benefits programs; and specialized treatment for disabilities, mental health issues, and substance use. Walk-in Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) intake and assessment clinic hours are 9:30 am to 12 noon Tuesdays. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
