Supports the well-being of children, youth, and families, especially those who are vulnerable, through child protection and family support services; this is the intake office location. Other services coordinated through central provincial offices include helplines and after-hours support; resources and referral; funding and benefits programs; and specialized treatment for disabilities, mental health issues, and substance use. Child and youth mental health services are delivered by Intersect Youth and Family Services Society; see separate listing for details. Child and family services are also delivered by delegated Aboriginal agencies Carrier Sekani Family Services and Nezul Be Hunueyeh Child and Family Services Society. Serves Prince George, Hixon, and Tsay Keh Dene. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
