Promotes the physical, social, and mental well-being of all seniors age 50 and older in the Powell River Regional District. Also works to promote volunteerism within the senior community. Regular activities include games, crafts, exercise, choir, computer classes, and drop-in coffee. Provides frozen dinners to seniors in Powell River. Meals are priced from $7. Seniors Together Powell River is a monthly social for seniors that includes a free lunch and guest speakers; offered from 11 am to 1:30 pm on the third Tuesday of the month; reservation required. Monthly Dinners are held on the last Friday of the month from September to June; reservation required. Dinners are $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Nonprofit society.
